Welcome to the application portal for the MPSP study phase, the Master’s program designed to be followed by a PhD within MPSP. To apply, you must complete both the MPSP application on this platform and the application for the Master of Photon Science and Technology via the campo portal of Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU). Please read the information below carefully before beginning your application.
Workflow of your application
- Create an account on this platform, log in to the application platform and start the application process.
- Invite your 1st, 2nd, or optional 3rd referee to submit a letter of recommendation before the deadline.
- Fill out the online application form for our study program Master of Photon Science and Technology at campo. To do so, please create an IdM account (_link here_) and then follow this _direct link_ where the right study program is preselected.
Afterwards, import your data into the MPSP application form on this platform (recommended). Alternatively, you may complete both forms separately by hand.
While steps 2 and 3 can also be completed in a different order, we strongly recommend following the described procedure to give your referees sufficient time to respond.
We expect you to submit a complete application form (by 12/01/2025 - 23:59 UTC) and provide at least 2 references (by 12/15/2025 - 23:59 UTC) for admission. All required fields (marked with an asterisk *) must be filled with the corresponding information, otherwise you may be excluded from the admission process. We do not routinely request missing documents.
